Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy

PEMF Therapy stands for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. This type of device provides a sequence of magnetic pulses programmed to provide a pulsed electromagnetic field. It is designed to safely promote healing in muscle, tendon, ligament, skin, and bone tissues. PEMF therapy reduces localized swelling, induces cell proliferation and extracellular matrix deposition, and promotes healing. We use the MagnaFix device for our PEMF therapy for a variety of cases, including post op hemilaminectomies, soft tissue wounds, arthritic joints, or orthopedic surgeries.
